Pathways: Services for Seniors Initiative

Grants for organizations that serve our older neighbors

Pathways provides grants for nonprofits that connect seniors to information and services so they can remain in their homes and be active members of their community.

Grants are awarded during Round I and III and are made possible by the East Hill Woods Fund at CCF.

Funding can be used for:

  • new, improved, or expanded programs and services
  • planning, assessments and related efforts
  • development and implementation of service networks
  • organizational capacity building
  • Town Conversation on Aging

Instructions for Grant Seekers

STEP 2:
Determine the eligibility of your particular request

STEP 3:
Submit a Letter of Inquiry (LOI)

LOIs are reviewed by CCF's committee chairmen who are volunteers who represent the community as well as representatives of our partner funders. If your LOI is accepted, we will invite you to submit a full application which we will e-mail to you.

CCF Partner Funders: Connecticut Community Foundation (CCF) also works with several private partner funders to assist with administration of their grantmaking programs. Their guidelines may vary from CCF guidelines in terms of service area, priorities, restrictions, etc.  Please read the guidelines below for more information.

If you are interested in applying to these private funders, you have two options:

  1. Submit a request directly to these funders as detailed in the guidelines below.
  2. Submit a letter of inquiry (LOI) to Connecticut Community Foundation using the form above; these letters will be shared with all partner funders. This option will enable more potential funders to consider your request.
