The Connecticut Community Foundation recently awarded more than $602,000 in scholarships to students from Greater Waterbury and the Litchfield Hills for the 2011-2012 school year. The Foundation presented close to 300 awards from scholarship funds established by area donors.
The region’s largest scholarship provider, CCF has awarded hundreds of scholarships to area students since 1989.

Scholarship applications for the 2012 school year will be available beginning in January. Students can obtain applications from their high school guidance departments or online. Deadline to apply is March 15, 2012.
