Dianne Couture
The ailing economy has hurt many people, especially those in Manufacturing. Dianne Couture lost her longtime position as a Production Planner and Buyer. And with the job market as it is, she did not have much luck finding new work.
Dianne refused to see this as a bad thing. With the help of a CCF community college fund, she made this misfortune an opportunity to further her dreams in the medical field. Dianne now attends Naugatuck Community College studying to become a registered nurse.
“I’m so honored to get an opportunity to further my education at age 44. I feel as if I’ve been given a second chance.” Dianne’s constant optimism in spite of challenging times, along with a bit of help from CCF, has allowed her to make good of a bad time.
