Are you a nonprofit looking for support for your event, program or symposium?
For 2010, CCF sponsorship grants of up to $1,500 are available ...
- to libraries, historical societies, and arts, cultural, and environmental organizations that are 501(c)(3) nonprofits or public entities for one-time programs, symposia, or events open to the public in our 21-town CCF service area.
Please note: Sponsorship grants are limited to one per current calendar year per organization. We do not sponsor golf tournaments.

Apply today or contact Cynthia Merrick for more information. We will send you notification of our decision about 2 weeks after the application deadline date.
Community Basic Needs Funds (Round II only)
To provide funds earmarked for programs that supply food, clothing, medication, and other essentials to those in need.
Earl and Shirley Herbst Eye Research Fund (June deadline)
To promote eye research, enhance community awareness of eye disease and treatment, and support ophthalmic educational opportunities for area medical practitioners.
Edith Kingsbury Fund (Round II only)
To provide support to the programs and services of Girls, Inc. of Greater Waterbury, Anderson Boys Club, Family Services of Greater Waterbury, Southmayd Home, American Lung Association, Waterbury Day Nursery, and VNA Health Care.
Saunders Fund for the Sick and Infirm of the Borough of Naugatuck (Round II only)
To support area nonprofits that provide healthcare and health-related social services to residents of the Borough.
Priscilla S. Whittemore Fund
To provide funds for international group travel programs for youth (school language clubs, bands/choirs or church youth groups, etc.), or for educational events that have an international focus.
Women’s Initiative Fund (Round II only)
Programs for women and their children.
