Nonprofit Assistance Initiative
Grants & services to strengthen your nonprofit
Managing your nonprofit by following best practices strengthens your organization, helps you accomplish your mission, and helps you meet the needs of your clients in the community.
The Nonprofit Assistance Initiative (NAI) is a joint program of the Connecticut Community Foundation and the United Way of Greater Waterbury.
Launched in 1998, NAI resulted from the Foundation’s community leadership efforts to improve services to the community by helping nonprofits operate more effectively and efficiently.
We brought area nonprofits together, listened and responded to their needs for assistance with board development, strategic planning and financial management.
