Community Leadership

An increasingly important role for community foundations is to take the lead in addressing important issues in the communities we serve.

Bringing residents together to explore and tackle critical issues, the Connecticut Community Foundation is a neutral broker – organizing meetings, identifying experts, conducting research and, in some cases, providing important start-up funding for an innovative community solution. As an example, in April 2009, CCF hosted a free stimulus package summit for nonprofits to help them take advantage of newly available federal funding.

Additionally, we have a broad base of volunteers who are willing to share their extensive knowledge, experience and resources.
