Scholarship Guidelines/Applications
For most of the Foundation’s funds, applicants must reside in our 21-town service area, and be planning to attend college for the first time.
However, different funds have different requirements, so please consult the various guidelines below.
March 15 is the annual deadline for these applications, unless otherwise noted.

- General Application
For all scholarship funds, except for those listed below. Most first-time applicants or students who have previously received Connecticut Community Foundation scholarships will use this form.
- Special Funds
For students majoring in international business, visual arts, Polish studies, medicine, or ophthalmology.
- Summer Programs
Includes the Sue Strisik Grossman Summer Scholarship for Waterbury students to attend summer academic enrichment programs or camp.
- Harold & Ruth Ann Leever Scholarship
This scholarship program is available to the children of MacDermid employees worldwide.
- Community College Scholarship
For students planning to begin classes at Naugatuck Valley Community College in the Fall. Applications are generally made available in the Spring.
