About Our Grants
The Connecticut Community Foundation awards more than $1 million in grants annually, investing in organizations and programs that build vibrant and healthy communities in our 21-town area. Thanks to unrestricted gifts from many donors, the Foundation supports arts and culture, youth, the environment, health, basic needs, and more.
We welcome proposals from 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations (and municipal agencies in some cases) that are located in our region or serve residents here. Applicants are asked to prepare a brief letter of inquiry before being sent an application. Please see our guidelines (available here) for more information.
