A grant from the Connecticut Community Foundation helped support the Big Read, including this reading and performance at the Silas Bronson Library.
The Connecticut Food Bank received a grant from the Community Funds for Basic Needs to help distribute food from the Waterbury warehouse that serves towns throughout the region.
A youth group from Goshen received a grant from the Priscilla S. Whittemore Fund for its trip to the Dominican Republic.

Start by reading the grant guidelines. Our program officer, Josh Carey, will be happy to discuss your proposal. You must submit a letter of inquiry to receive an application.

Program Grants 
For new, enhanced, or expanded programs and services, as well as capital campaign, equipment or building requests.

Capacity-Building Grants (Nonprofit Assistance Initiative)  
To improve an organization's efficiency and effectiveness.

Community Basic Needs Funds  
Funds earmarked for programs that supply food, clothing, medication and other essentials to those in need. (Round III only)

Edith Kingsbury Fund  
To provide support to the programs and services of Girls, Inc. of Greater Waterbury, Anderson Boys Club, Family Services of Greater Waterbury, Southmayd Home, American Lung Association, Waterbury Day Nursery, VNA Health Care. (Round III only)

Lucian D. Warner Fund  
To encourage the presentation of classical choral music by residents within the Foundation’s service area. Round III only.

Priscilla S. Whittemore Fund  
Grant program that will provide funds for international group travel programs for youth (school language clubs, bands/choirs or church youth groups, etc). Rounds I and III only.

Women’s Initiative Fund
