| Once you establish your fund, you can look forward to learning about the good work it makes possible, such as this arts and mentoring program for high school students. |
The good feeling you get from giving shouldn't be slowed down by a complicated process. Establishing a fund at
the Connecticut Community Foundation is simple. We're here to guide you through the process.
- Select a type of fund
that matches your interests. We can help you find the type of fund that will support the issues you care about most.
- Choose an asset to give. In most cases, you can establish a fund with a minimum contribution of $10,000. You can give cash, appreciated securities
or other assets. After the initial gift, you can continue to give to your fund and encourage your friends and family to give to your fund as well.
- Fill out the paperwork. Don't worry - the fund establishment forms are only two to three pages long, and We will help you or your advisor complete them.
- Stay involved. We look forward to telling you about the good work your fund is supporting. We will recognize you in our annual report (unless you prefer anonymity). If you make a planned gift, we will invite you to join The 1923 Society, which recognizes those who leave their legacy through the Foundation.
Please review your charitable giving plans with your financial and legal advisors. We can work with them to help you design a gift to meet your needs.
