Fred Baker and Lisa Powers of New Milford established an unrestricted fund to broadly support the Connecticut Community Foundation’s grantmaking.
Fred, a former president of CCF, and Lisa, chair of the CCF Events Committee, like knowing that their gifts are being put to the best use in the region.
“The Connecticut Community Foundation knows the needs, they understand who’s out there, and they’re capable of responding,” Fred Baker said. “A donor accomplishes a lot more through the Foundation than they could if they tried to do it alone. It has better reach and better results.”
